Bobagrees Downtown Music School - "Making Music Fun"
Teacher and Proprietor

Corey Rubin - Guitar, Piano, Bass and Drums :
Hello, I'm Corey Rubin. I am the proud owner and founder of Bobagrees Downtown Music School. It was established February 1st, 2009 in New Port Richey, Florida and named in honor of my father, “Bobby Rubin”.
I have been a music teacher for my entire adult life-I began teaching guitar in New York while attending college to complete my classical training. I moved to Hernando County eighteen years ago and have been teaching guitar, bass, piano and drums there since then. I have been in Pasco County teaching at Bobagrees for over two years now.
Teaching is not my only outlet for my musical background. I have had the luxury of playing with some great musicians in rock, funk, and original bands. I still do a one man show as well as deejaying on the weekends and for special events.
Being an integral part of the community has always been my goal. Besides teaching in a private school sector, I participated in the “Y Arts program at the YMCA for troubled teens, taught for the Hernando County Fine Arts Council and became a “Big Brother” for a young teen in Spring Hill and have worked and helped many charities along my journey.
I pride myself in being professional and ethical.
Through Musical discipline, my personal mission is for my students to have fun, and for them to receive valuable life skills, enabling them to express themselves and become better well rounded individuals.
Having the ability to share my knowledge and talents with those who come to me for lessons makes life just about as good as it gets.
